Mike de Brie (Western Australia)'s personnel individually grade each hide, and our flexibility in this area allows us to provide our clients with maximum options at all times.
Our EXPORT grade hides are typically sold as a tannery run (T/R), which is a combination of A and B grade hides packed together in unspecified quantities. C1, C2 and D grade categories are graded and packed separately.

Corrected grain, embossed upholstery leathers.
Prime area will have extensive areas of healed/ open scars, scratch and tick damage.

Heavily corrected and embossed.
Multiple butt brands, rib brands and hides with large humps are included in this category.

Full grain, Corrected grain.
Hides that, although of an acceptable grain quality, may show excessive flay damage and holes included. Prime area may exhibit open and healed scars and scratches.

Heavily corrected, pigmented and embossed.
Prime area will exhibit excessive open and healed scratch, scars and parasite damage. May include stains, bacterial damage, bad flay, holes, poor shape, and residual hair.
